Currently: Lecturer III, Physics and Astronomy, The University of New Mexico (Albuquerque)
I am an active member of the aerospace community and a university educator. I conduct research into new space-based and unmanned systems for aerospace sensing, and for astronomy and
astrophysics missions. I develop and teach courses in Physics and Astronomy, both traditional classroom-based courses and online courses, at all levels. I also teach courses in optics, space systems,
and sensor systems for technology professionals in the aerospace industry.
My current research interests include space-based optical systems for astronomy, space science, and Earth remote sensing; and networked aerospace sensor systems and their applications.
